To provide faculty and staff with a central source of timely and useful information about the campus community, the É«ÇéAPPµ¼º½ News Service today is launching a new e-mail publication — É«ÇéAPPµ¼º½ Friday Update.

Each Friday, the Update will be sent to all faculty and staff with ucdavis.edu e-mail addresses. Content will include short summaries and Web links to highlights from that week's Dateline, breaking news, feature stories from the university's home page, NewsWatch TV news stories and É«ÇéAPPµ¼º½ Magazine, as well as events listings. In addition, the Update will include links to all campus directives issued in the previous week, and will replace the individual distribution of campus directives.

To ensure that a directive is included in the Update, departments must submit the draft directive to the campus policy coordinator for approval by noon Friday a week prior to the Friday of the desired publication date.
